Are Out of the Box Dates just for younger people?
No, we have romantic adventures designed for any age group and at various stages of a relationship. All of our dates come with a brief description when shopping to determine if you or date recipient might enjoy the activities planned, be physically able, and need for a car, babysitter, etc. Some dates require you to be at least 18 years of age. If you would like a date recommendation, please complete the Customer Service Email Intake and someone will respond within 24 hours.

Is this a dating service?
No.  We supply the adventure and ideas.  You supply the people.

How will my adventure arrive?
Once your order has been processed, you will receive the Out of the Box Dates keepsake box with all the date contents placed inside. That box is tied with a ribbon. The entire keepsake box is then placed inside a shipping box, sealed with tamper evident tape, and mailed to the address that you submitted on your order.

Can I pick up my Out of the Box Date to save on shipping and handling fees?
If you attend a Romance Party, we try to provide all dates at the time of order. If you order online, it is our policy to ship all dates even if you live in the Twin Cities. We are sorry we do not have a storefront for our dates at this time.

What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of items contained in an Out of the Box Date, once it has been delivered and opened, the contents and ideas of the date have been revealed and therefore are not returnable or refundable. If you purchase an Out of the Box Date or game or another product and subsequently decide not to use it before opening it, you may return the unopened box that your order was shipped in, for a refund upon inspection by Out of the Box Dates. All decisions regarding returns are at the sole discretion of Out of the Box Dates, LLC. Return postage is the responsibility of the consumer.

Why can't I purchase my downloadable files and other purchases all at the same time?
To ensure that you receive your downloadable files without any delay, our automated system requires that you pay for your adventure and then immediately download it to your computer.  Because of this immediacy, all downloads are separate transactions.  All other items (excluding downloads) may be added to your shopping cart and processed as one transaction.    

What does "downloadable" mean?
The word downloadable means "available for transfer from the Internet to a computer." Some items for sale on OutOfTheBoxDates.com are downloadable and are delivered at checkout from our store to your personal computer.

What do I do if I'm having trouble ordering?
We do everything we can to ensure that shopping with us is as simple and pleasant as possible. However, we all know that our computers sometimes have a mind of their own! How can I access my downloadable items again
Once your order is processed, you will be able to immediately download your adventure to your computer.  If for some reason there is a problem, or you need access to the adventure again, you may contact Customer Service by e-mail (above) 24 hours a day or by telephone at 763-383-2900, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  We will be happy to email you the zipped files again (within 45 days of your order) once verified.    Please have your order information available so that we may better serve you.

What payment options are available?
You may pay by credit card or your Pay Pal account when shopping online. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.  If you wish to make a purchase at a Romance Party, we accept cash, checks, or credit cards.
